Meet Me
My name is Oliver Phillips, and I am a 13-year old student in Fort Worth ISD. Math is my favorite subject, and I just completed Algebra I as a 7th grader. I really enjoy helping my classmates when they are struggling to understand, and I am excited to do this for your student as well. I offer personalized math support focusing on strengthening core concepts and building confidence in math. My peer tutoring services are guardian-supervised and will be held in quiet public spaces.

In our first session, we will discuss your goals and needs as a group with me, the student's parent/guardian, and one of my parents (both of whom are experienced educators from middle school through graduate school level).
Sessions will be tailored to your student's needs. We can spend time on homework, preparing for tests, or practicing specific concepts. Tutees are expected to bring any materials that they specifically need help on; I will have extra practice materials ready to round-out skills as needed.
For STAAR test-specific preparation, I offer focused practice sessions, where I work through old STAAR tests and new STAAR practice items with students. We will focus on problem solving strategies to give your student tools for confidence in testing.
